Corrections Policy

Effective date: August 7, 2026

Accuracy is a core requirement at Vape Reviews. When errors happen, we correct them promptly and transparently.

How to Request a Correction

Send correction requests through our Contact page with the page URL, the specific statement in question, and supporting evidence where possible.

Review Process

  • We log each credible correction request for editorial review.
  • We assess available evidence and source quality before changing text.
  • When needed, we seek additional confirmation before publishing an update.
  • Requests made in bad faith, abusive submissions, or unsupported claims may be declined.

Types of Corrections

  • Minor edits: grammar, formatting, and non-material clarity updates.
  • Substantive corrections: factual fixes that may affect interpretation or buying decisions.
  • Major revisions: reworked sections when new evidence changes prior conclusions.

Response Timing

We aim to acknowledge correction reports quickly and resolve straightforward factual issues as soon as practical. Complex claims may require more time for verification.

Transparency

Material corrections are reflected in the page content and may include an update note. If a page can no longer be supported, we may archive, redirect, or remove it.

Follow-Up and Escalation

If you believe a correction request was overlooked, reply to the same email thread with additional evidence and we will re-review the matter.

Internal Governance

Editorial policy implementation is reviewed through routine quality checks, contributor guidance, and post-publication review standards. High-impact pages receive additional scrutiny for clarity, evidence quality, and legal-age audience framing.

When policy conflicts appear, we revise content and process rather than preserving problematic language for convenience.

Policy Maintenance

This policy is updated when workflow, legal context, or operational standards materially change. Updates are documented through revised page dates and related policy references.
