Could we get a compatibility lookup thread index?

Would it make sense to maintain one pinned thread that links to the most useful compatibility discussions by device family? I know the forum search exists, but compatibility questions tend to use slightly different wording for the same part.

I am thinking of a simple index, not a giant database inside one post.

Yes. An index can work as long as the individual threads remain the source of detail. That gives us one place to organize model families without flattening revisions into a single answer.

I added this to the forum-maintenance list. If the first few compatibility threads stay active, we can pin an index without creating an empty directory.
