How should forum posts link health or safety claims?

For discussions that touch health or safety, is the expectation that every sentence needs a citation, or just claims that go beyond somebody describing their own experience?

I want the forum to stay readable without letting important claims float around with no source.

The practical rule is to source material factual claims that readers may rely on, especially when the topic can affect health or safety. Personal experience should be labeled as personal experience rather than used as proof of a general claim.

And use the source that actually supports the sentence. A link that is merely related to the topic is not useful evidence.

That is a reasonable line. I can work with that.
