How staff badges and source links work

Staff accounts use a visible role badge so readers can tell when a reply comes from somebody working on Vape Reviews. The badge identifies the account; it does not make every sentence in a staff reply an official site position.

When we link a policy, methodology page, article, manufacturer document, or public source, the link is there so readers can inspect the underlying context. A source link is not a substitute for explaining why the source matters.

For specifications, I would rather see the exact model or revision named in a post than a generic “the website says” reference. That small detail saves time when a listing changes later.

The distinction between staff reply and official correction is useful. I have seen forums where those get blurred immediately.
