When is a price gap actually justified?

A higher price can be reasonable when the product delivers a meaningful advantage, reduces recurring costs, includes something the cheaper option requires separately, or remains easier to support over time.

What I try to avoid is treating price as a quality score by itself. The question is what the extra money changes for the reader.

Replacement cost is the part I usually miss until after I buy something. A cheaper device is not always cheaper if the parts are much more expensive.

Included accessories count too, but only if they are things the reader would actually need. A pile of filler should not make a bundle look more valuable.

Exactly. Bundle value only matters when the included pieces replace a real future expense or improve the use case.
